Coffee with a Cop gave residents a chance to chat while McDonald's served them free coffee.

McDonald's at 28th & Greenmount along Waverly Main Street greeted folks who came to have free "Coffee with a Cop" from Northern Police District this March 1st morning under their "Golden Arches."

Residents from north, south, east and west of "the road" came to chat with the officers in blue who serve continuously and well the crossroads communties of historic Waverly village "24-7."

Thanks to McDonalds and Northern District for bringing us together in this way!!

WALKING WAVERLY will cover village blocks in Better Waverly, in Waverly and along Waverly Main Street.

WALKING WAVERLY with our Police Commissioner will be a great opportunity for our merchants, our residents and representatives of our faith based groups to share our sidewalks and streets with our city's chief safety leader, to show him how much we care about our neighborhoods and our commercial corridor and to give voice to our citizen and community safety concerns.
