Go Ravens !!!

A Sunday stroll along the Harbor.

Today seemed like a good one for walking around the Inner Harbor; there’s nothing like a little fog to make a place appear magical and mysterious! Of course it didn’t hurt that everyone was high and wearing purple in commemoration of yesterday’s incredible win! The Ravens deserve all the exclamation points that get used here.

Parking on Federal Hill where we paid our respects to Sam Smith, we climbed down to AVAM so I could capture O SAY CAN YOU SEE imprinted on the front of the museum and then passed Rash Field where beach volleyball players made it seem like summer.

RAVEN caught my eye near MD Science Center; it looks like a fun boat to party on!

McCormick’s has a fun new shop inside Harbor Place with great interactive displays!

We admired the US Constellation docked near our World Trade Center and then reflected at the serene site of the 9-11 Memorial to Marylanders who died in 2001.

From there, passing the National Aquarium and Power Plant over foot bridges we made our way to the old Seven Foot Knoll Lighthouse for a picnic lunch we packed to eat with our dog Odaat. I climbed up to take the tour inside the lighthouse which was once lived in off Chesapeake Bay by the mouth of Patapsco River. Its history can be found inside www.historicships.org.

What a way to spend a warm wintry Sunday after an amazing Saturday victory! Go Ravens!
