Cell Video Shows School Cop Assaulting Youth: Report
A school police officer in Baltimore allegedly slapped and kicked a young man.
BALTIMORE, MD – The head of the Baltimore City School Police Force is reportedly on administrative leave after cell phone video showing an apparent assault by a school police officer was released this week.
Lake Clifton High School at the Reach Partnership! was the site of the alleged assault, a recording of which was posted on Facebook and is currently under investigation, according to Fox 45.
The four-second video showed an individual being hit and slapped by an officer on Tuesday.

The victim was treated at the hospital for bruised ribs and facial injuries, his lawyer told WJZ.
Authorities said two roving foot patrol officers on the Baltimore City School Police Force were responding to a call about a possible intruder when they came upon the individual at 10:17 a.m., according to ABC 2 News, which reported both officers and the head of the school police force were placed on administrative leave.

Visibly disturbed, Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake said she was “appalled” by the video, which she described as “something you never want to see.”
The Baltimore City School Police Force is a separate entity from Baltimore Police Department. An investigation is underway.
