Children's Guild holds annual Cabaret for Kids

Fundraiser to honor Dr. Ellen H. Yankellow, president and CEO of Correct Rx Pharmacy Services Inc.

The Children’s Guild, which serves children and adolescents who are difficult to educate due to autism, multiple disabilities and trauma, will hold its annual Cabaret for Kids honoring Dr. Ellen H. Yankellow, president and CEO of Correct Rx Pharmacy Services Inc.

Cabaret for Kids will include a cocktail hour, seated gourmet dinner, live auction and dessert reception. During the gala, The Children’s Guild will honor Dr. Yankellow with an original musical production, “Sheer Will,” about her life and present her with the Sadie Award, which recognizes people who embody The Children’s Guild’s spirit and vision.

Dr. Yankellow is one of the leading women pharmacists in the country and an expert in institutional and geriatric pharmacy services. She founded Correct Rx Pharmacy Services Inc. in 2003 and has grown the company to be one of the leading women-owned businesses in the state of Maryland, serving more than 200,000 patients nationwide.

Dr. Yankellow is on the boards of numerous organizations including serving as chair of the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy Board of Visitors. She is a board member of the Catholic Community Foundation and a member of Stevenson University’s President’s Advisory Council. She is part of the United Way of Central Maryland’s Philanthropic Network. She also serves on the corporate boards of AAA Mid-Atlantic, AAA Maryland Regional and J.J. Haines & Company Inc.
