Clare Elliott Promoted to NKF-MD Senior Development Coordinator

Since joining the non-profit in 2012, she has helped grow its Greater Baltimore Kidney Walk.

Lutherville, Md. – The National Kidney Foundation of Maryland (NKF-MD) has promoted Clare Elliott to senior development coordinator.

“Clare has a natural gift for outreach and community development which is key in helping to grow our events and spread awareness in the community about our mission,” said Christie Vera, NKF-MD’s vice president of development & marketing.

Since joining the Foundation in 2012, Elliott has recruited numerous volunteers and teams and formed strategic partnerships for the Greater Baltimore Kidney Walk. In her new position, she will manage all aspects of the walk and also support the restaurant and entertainment recruitment efforts for Santé: A Culinary Odyssey.

“It is a privilege to assist the kidney community and I am very thankful to interact with so many inspiring people that push me to overcome my own struggles,” Elliott said.

Bringing five years non-profit experience, Elliott previously worked for Art with a Heart as program instructor and middle school art teacher, and manager for its HeARTwares store. She also served as community resource coordinator with Boys Hope Girls Hope. A Towson University graduate, Elliott resides in the Rodgers Forge community.
