Cowspiracy - Eco Film Showing Fund Raising Event!

My Sea Shepherd Baltimore/DC Chapter and I are hosting a showing of the new eco-film documentary ‘Cowspiracy: The Sustainability Secret’ on December 2nd, at 7:30PM, at the AMC White Marsh theater.

Our hosted showing is a means to educate the general public on animal rights issues surrounding many factory farm tactics, and also, it is a fund raiser for our direct action ocean conservation organization, Sea Shepherd Conservation Society.

‘Cowspiracy: The Sustainability Secret’ is a groundbreaking feature-length environmental documentary following an intrepid filmmaker as he uncovers the most destructive industry facing the planet today – and investigates why the world’s leading environmental organizations are too afraid to talk about it. As eye-opening as ‘Blackfish’ and as inspiring as ‘An Inconvenient Truth’, this shocking yet humorous documentary reveals the absolutely devastating environmental impact large-scale factory farming has on our planet.

With that, a portion of the ticket cost $12.50/each, is donated to Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, to help assist in direct action ocean conservation efforts around the world. Currently, we have Cove Guardians monitoring the Taiji cove and documenting the suffering of the dolphins in Japan, so that we can show the world and bring an end to the dolphin drive hunts.
