Loyola University Maryland’s club tennis team will join club tennis teams from Johns Hopkins University, UMBC, and Towson University for the “Battle of Baltimore Rally,” a fundraising effort that will benefit the Henrietta Lacks family. Events include a meet and greet with the Lacks family, an on-court relay race open to spectators ($5 registration fee), musical performances, and head-to-head matches among the four university club teams. Each team captain is an ambassador with Kids Play For Good, a charitable organization that encourages kids who play tennis to get involved in philanthropic causes.
