Ashley Merryman, award-winning science journalist and co-author of The New York Times bestseller NurtureShock: New Thinking About Children, will share insights about child development and parenting, including tips on fostering creativity and how not to "helicopter". Event is free and open to the public, seating is on a first come first served basis. Doors open at 6:15 and the lecture will be held in the Forbush Auditorium. Both hard cover and paper back books will available for purchase.
