JustAdvice Session

JustAdvice® is a program, administered by the University of Maryland School of Law, that provides low cost legal consultation to Baltimore residents. Since its creation in June of 2009, JustAdvice® has providing legal advice on a broad range of legal issues including family law, housing, criminal, employment, expungement, insurance, elder law, tax, civil, and social security. The program’s goal is to increase access to justice within the Baltimore community by providing a low cost alternative for individuals in need of legal advice who do not qualify for Legal Aid, but may not have the resources to hire a private attorney.

How does it work?

JustAdvice® hosts two three-hour sessions each week. For only $10, customers receive up to 30 minutes with an experienced attorney to discuss their legal issue. During this meeting, customers can gain a better understanding of the legal issues they face and receive advice on how to proceed in order to resolve those issues. The program accepts walk-ins; however, customers who would like to schedule an appointment can do so by calling or by sending an e-mail.

Please see our flyer for more information.
