The Peabody Preparatory Guitar Department is proud to present its third annual Fret Festival, to be held at the Preparatory’s downtown Baltimore campus, located at the Peabody Institute, on Sunday, March 4, from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm. A daylong celebration of the guitar, the 2012 Fret Festival will feature workshops with Peabody Preparatory and Conservatory faculty members, an arts and crafts activity for kids, and a vendor fair featuring Kirkpatrick Guitars and local luthier David Pace. Peabody guitar alumna Martha Masters will also conduct a master class and perform in a special concert concluding the day’s events.
