Baltimore Courthouse Fire Related to Utilities: Officials
Drivers may experience delays around circuit court building in downtown Baltimore, emergency officials said.
BALTIMORE, MD – There is a fire at the Baltimore City Circuit Courthouse Tuesday evening, according to the Baltimore Office of Emergency Management. Anyone inside should evacuate, officials advised at approximately 6:30 p.m.
Buildings near the Mitchell Courthouse may lose power, as the blaze is connected to underground electrical equipment, emergency officials reported.
Drivers may experience delays in the area of the 100 block of North Calvert Street, where the courthouse is located, officials said after the fire was reported around 6:15 p.m.
