Friends Senior Awarded Princeton Race Relations Prize

Cinneah El-Amin, a senior at , has been awarded the Princeton Prize in Race Relations.
The prize is given to a student who demonstrates commitment to advancing positive race relations by engaging in volunteer activities that impact their schools or communities, according to a news release announcing the award.
The award includes a $1,000 cash prize and an invitation to the annual Princeton Prize Symposium on Race.

Friends selected El-Amin for an unprecedented two consecutive years as a facilitator at the National Association of Independent Schools Student Diversity Leadership Conference, and she serves as the student representative to the Board of Trustees Diversity Committee, according the news release.
