Joppa View Elementary School has begun holding Multicultural Club meetings Tuesdays from 4-4:45 for students grades K-5. At meetings students learn about a new country every week, presented by members of the community with heritage in the country. So far, countries have included India and The Netherlands, with plans to hold meetings on Germany, Brazil, Venezuela, Greece, Colombia, Ukraine, Poland, Jamaica, and more! Here students make a call to Amsterdam over Skype to speak with staff member Robert Lesser's Dutch cousin, who answers student questions about life in The Netherlands.
