Kenny Loggins To Perform Baltimore Benefit Concert for Junior Achievement

JA Jams, presented by OneMain Financial, to take place at The Meyerhoff, Nov. 7

OWINGS MILLS, Md. – Everybody cut loose, Footloose! Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter and guitarist, Kenny Loggins will give a special concert in Baltimore to benefit Junior Achievement of Central Maryland (JA). OneMain Financial will present JA Jams: An Evening with Kenny Loggins, Friday, Nov. 7, at Meyerhoff Symphony Hall (1212 Cathedral St., 21201).

“The demand for JA programs is greater than ever, with the increased focus on college and career readiness throughout Maryland schools,” said Jennifer Bodensiek, president of Junior Achievement of Central Maryland. “Events like this featuring a music legend help elevate awareness of JA and provide our partners with a fun and meaningful way to support the more than 42,000 students we serve each year.”

With more than four decades of success in the music business, Loggins has had smash hits on Hollywood’s favorite soundtracks, rocked worldwide stages and found his way into children’s hearts while bringing his soulful voice to platinum albums of a variety of genres.

“We have been based in Baltimore since 1912 and are proud to support our customers and our community,” said Mary McDowell, OneMain Financial’s CEO. “Advancing financial education for both adults and young people is important to us and there is no better partner for these efforts than Junior Achievement. OneMain Financial is delighted to be the presenting sponsor of this exciting event that will help raise both awareness and funding for the outstanding work that JA does.”
