Life and Breath Foundation's Flip Flop Festivus Returning to Four Seasons
Resort Casual Fundraiser to Help Sarcoidosis Patients.
ELLICOTT CITY, Md. – The Life and Breath Foundation will present its 8th Annual Flip Flop Festivus signature fundraiser, Friday, Sept. 23, at the Four Seasons Hotel Baltimore in Harbor East.
A repeatedly sold out event with over 300 guests, Flip Flop Festivus offers an elegant night on the town in a resort casual atmosphere. Past attendees have included former professional athletes, media personalities and community leaders such as Matt Stover, Qadry Ismail, Brad Jackson, Gheorghe Muresan, Harvey Grant, Jonathan Ogden, Walt Williams, David Aldridge, Johnny Holliday, Keith Mills, Pete Gilbert and Mark Viviano.
Starting at 7 p.m., the evening will feature sumptuous cuisine and cocktails, along with casino games, raffle prizes and an exciting live auction of highly sought-after sports and travel packages.

Guests also can “shake their groove thing” to the sounds of Attraction, the 8-piece professional show band from Richmond, Va. With crisp harmonies, a dynamic stage show and a packed dance floor, Attraction has performed Top 40, Motown, Beach, Soul, Classic Rock, Oldies, Retro 70's & 80's, Jazz and Cocktail music for presidential candidates, governors, corporate groups and anywhere else from New York City to Puerto Rico to France where “great music and a great time was the goal.”
“This night of festivity serves as an important bridge between patients, their family, and the medical community to support the needs to combat how to handle Sarcoidosis,” said Sean Hull, founder and president of the Life and Breath Foundation, who lost his mother (at age 59) following her 13-year struggle with Sarcoidosis, where clumps of inflammatory cells form on multiple organs in the body causing organ inflammation. There is no cure for the disease.

Proceeds from Flip Flop Festivus will enable the Foundation to serve the Sarcoidosis community and fund additional research. Founded in 1998, the Life and Breath Foundation’s mission is to provide the sarcoidosis community with the vital resources needed to manage their medical care and to offer a supportive environment where they can be empowered. Since its inception, it has raised over $300,000 for Sarcoidosis research studies.
