Local Military Mom Surprised at Orioles Game

Irona Thompson, a local Baltimore County military mom received a special surprise during Sunday’s Orioles game against the Rays! Irona’s daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Jordan Woodland, Baltimore natives and active-duty military members currently stationed abroad, appeared on the jumbotron and surprised her with a special message.

The surprise is through AT&T Military Messages, a partnership between AT&T and the Baltimore Orioles. Each Sunday, the AT&T Military Messages program treats a lucky military family to a game (arriving under false pretenses) and a surprise shout-out from their loved one overseas.

AT&T is dedicated to supporting active military personnel, veterans and their families.
