Tomorrow, July 17th, BCPS will host a community input meeting regarding their tentative site design for Loch Raven Elementary School.
As many recall, On July 10th we successfully petitioned the Landmark Preservation Commission to delay approval of BCPS' plan to demolish much of the 1949 and all of the 1970 portions of the building as well as build a new 60,000 sq ft addition.
We also were able to postpone the site approval of a new 13,000 sq ft pre-fabricated community center "shed" in the wooded area opposite Clyde Bank and Glen Gary backyards.
Anyone who can attend this meeting is encouraged to do so.
