Loyola's Sellinger School of Business names Bob Cawley board chair
Cawley is president of insurance advisory firm RCM&D and an alumnus of Loyola.

BALTIMORE—Loyola University Maryland’s Sellinger School of Business and Management named Bob Cawley chair of the board of sponsors, which advises in the advancement and strategic direction of the Sellinger School. Cawley is president of insurance advisory firm RCM&D and an alumnus of Loyola.
Cawley, who has more than 32 years of leadership experience in insurance brokerage, is responsible for the day-to-day management, leadership, strategy, sales and client services of RCM&D, which employs over 275 employees located in six offices throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.
In conjunction with his leadership of RCM&D, Cawley also serves as chairman of Assurex Global. With over $28 billion in annual premium volume and more than 600 partner offices providing global resources to clients on six continents, Assurex Global is a partnership of independent agents and brokers. As chairman, Cawley focuses on strategic planning, private ownership, international expansion, governance and the sharing of best practices throughout the group.

Cawley has knowledge and experience in business risk analysis, alternative risk financing, self-insurance, risk management and employee benefit consulting. He has served as an expert speaker in national settings on insurance matters, including the development of a professional services firm, solvency and regulatory matters, and the formation and management of client-owned captive insurance companies.
Prior to joining RCM&D, Cawley held senior-level positions in private and publicly traded insurance brokerage, consulting, risk management and employee benefit advisory firms.

In addition to his work activities, Cawley is co-founder of GB Charities Inc., which provides elementary, middle school and upper school scholarships to disadvantaged children to attend parochial schools throughout the greater Baltimore area.
