Thomas D. Green was sentenced on Friday to three years, all suspended, for striking two students with his car, the Baltimore City State's Attorney's Office announced.
In May 2011, Green struck the students at the intersection of 33rd and St. Paul streets before leaving the scene. He was found guilty in Circuit Court for Baltimore City of failing to stop his vehicle following the accident and causing a life-threatening injury as a result of negligent driving while impaired by alcohol, according to a news release.
Green, 37, will be placed on three years probation, alcohol treatment and must install a device in his vehicle that prevents someone who has been drinking from driving, the news release showed.
