Man Shot in Arm in Waverly

A man was sitting in his car just east of Old York Road when he was shot in the arm early Saturday morning.

According to police, a man was in his car in the 600 block of East 36^th Street at about 2:40 a.m., when an unknown assailant shot him in the arm.

The shooter didn’t say a word to the man sitting in the car before he pulled the trigger, according to the report.

The shooter then ran from the scene and the investigation is ongoing.
