Maryland SPCA Hosts Kitten Shower, Donation Drive

Help the Maryland SPCA kick off kitten season.

During kitten season, animal shelters and rescue groups are overwhelmed with thousands of homeless litters. Last spring, the MD SPCA took in 819 kittens! We provide medical care, food, love and shelter until each kitten finds his or her forever home.

This year, the Maryland SPCA is hosting a Kitten Shower and Donation Drive to celebrate the beginning of our busiest season. We’ll be recruiting foster parents and collecting donations to help us stay afloat during this year’s wave of kittens. Since most of the kittens that come in are without a mother, there are special supplies that are needed for caring for these babies.

Please find the complete list of items on our Amazon Wishlist.

We also ask that each attendee bring an in-kind donation off of our wish list for the babies.
