Maryland SPCA hosts Wine & Wag Happy Hour to Help Homeless Pets

The MD SPCA is hosting a Wine and Wag Happy Hour to raise funds for the community's homeless animals. Event features fun for people, pets.

The Maryland SPCA is hosting its third Wine and Wag Happy Hour fundraiser of the season. The Happy Hour will take place at the MD SPCA shelter on Thursday, July 21st from 5:30-7:30 p.m. The event will include off-leash play in the fun runs, bobbing for hot dogs, paw painting, beer, wine, and complimentary snacks. The Well Crafted Pizza and Bistro Lunch Box food trucks will also be serving food all night, available for purchase. The featured beverage of the night will be Orange Crushes. There is a suggested donation of $3 for beer & wine and $1 for other beverages. Jordan August, a local funk-rock band will be playing. All proceeds from the ticket fees will help the MD SPCA care for as many as 15,000 homeless pets every year. Wine & Wag admission is $10 and $15 at the door per person.
