Monarch Academy Baltimore holds two events for prospective students

Both events will be held at the Monarch Academy campus located at 2525 Kirk Ave. in Baltimore

BALTIMORE—Monarch Academy Public Charter School in Baltimore will hold two events for prospective students and their families.

A general information session will take place on Thursday, Feb. 4, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. for parents of students entering kindergarten through eighth grade in the fall of 2016.

A breakfast with the principal will take place on Saturday, Feb. 6, between 10 a.m. and noon for parents of children entering kindergarten through second grade in the fall of 2016.

Both events will be held at the Monarch Academy campus located at 2525 Kirk Ave. in Baltimore. At the events, families will have the opportunity to tour the school building, meet Monarch Academy principal and teachers, and learn about the school’s academics and programs.

Monarch Academy provides tuition-free project-based learning that integrates technology, the arts and character education, extracurricular activities and clubs. Bus transportation from central locations is available for students living more than one mile from the school. Before and after school programs are available for a fee.

Monarch Academy is accepting applications until Feb. 12 at 5 p.m. with the lottery to select students being held at 7 p.m. on Feb. 17.
