National Aquarium Hosts Fluid Art Celebration

Event celebrating Baltimore art scene part of Fridays after Five program

The National Aquarium’s “Fluid Art” event celebrates Baltimore’s vibrant and lively art scene with exhibits by the Aquarium’s community art partners, such as the Creative Alliance, and more. Guests will enjoy an art fashion show of painted clothing and shoes, a dance and story-telling performance featuring local dance troupe, Native America’s People, and Maryland-inspired dishes with local beer and wine will be available for purchase. Additionally, guests will have the opportunity to collaborate with artist Kasey Jones, the Maryland Institute College of Art graduate responsible for the popular community art project and recycled art tribute to the Aquarium’s green sea turtle, Calypso.

Cost: Enjoy the discounted admission of $12 on Fridays after 5:00p.m. All activities are included with Aquarium admission. Tickets can be purchased at aqua.org
