Now Hiring: Jr. Application Developer

Our team is responsible for a variety of development tasks including web and windows application development, data transfers, relational database design and reporting using the company’s internal script-based and visual development tools. The candidate is expected to be comfortable working on all phases of the software development life-cycle (requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, deployment, etc.) and be able to offer creative input to help define the product and improve processes. They must be able to assure the quality of software being shipped to the client, through code reviews with other developers and other methodical software quality assurance processes, and develop and maintain software documentation as specified for each assigned project.

Minimum Qualifications
• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or other relevant degree OR equivalent professional experience
• Highly detail-oriented and organized with excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work within a team to meet established project goals
• Ability to communicate professionally, concisely and effectively, both verbally and in writing
• Ability to Multi-task and stay focused on the big picture while addressing daily issues
• Ability to work efficiently with minimal direction and supervision
• Demonstrate understanding of databases including data structures and data flows

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in the information technology or software development industries
• Experience in the healthcare related industry
• Ability to gather, interpret, and communicate complex ideas
• Ability to understand business concepts and issues as well as technical systems processes
• High degree of professionalism and strong work ethic
• SharePoint Experience
• Version Control Experience
• Proficiency in command prompt and UNIX utilities
