Organ Master Dr. Lonnie Smith Performs May 3 at Baltimore Chamber Jazz Society Concert at Baltimore Museum of Art
The Baltimore Chamber Jazz Society will host a concert by renowned organ master Dr. Lonnie Smith, on May 3, at the Baltimore Museum of Art.

Concluding its 2014-2015 season, The Baltimore Chamber Jazz Society will host a concert by renowned Hammond B-3 organ master Dr. Lonnie Smith, at 5 p.m., on Sunday, May 3, 2015, at the Baltimore Museum of Art, 10 Art Museum Drive in Baltimore. Smith will be accompanied by Jonathan Kreisberg on guitar and Johnathan Blake on drums.
Smith is an unparalleled musician, composer, performer and recording artist. An authentic guru of the Hammond B-3 organ for more than five decades, he has been featured on over 70 albums, and has recorded and performed with a virtual “Who’s Who” of the greatest jazz, blues and R&B giants in the industry. Consequently, he has often been hailed as a “Legend,” a “Living Musical Icon” and as the most creative jazz organist by numerous music publications. Jazz Times magazine describes him as “a riddle wrapped in an enigma wrapped in a turban.” Always ahead of the curve, it is no surprise Dr. Smith’s fan-base is truly worldwide.
