Beginning on March 27 and continuing through April 10, Pet+ER, the Challenge Gift Sponsor for the Maryland SPCA's upcoming March for the Animals walk-a-thon and festival to be held on April 27, will contribute an additional $25 directly to the MD SPCA for every online March donation of $40 or more made, up to a total of $5,000 in matches.
“We do not receive any operating funds from the government or money from any other animal welfare organizations,” said Tami Gosheff, MD SPCA special events and outreach manager. “We are very appreciative to Pet+ ER and all of our sponsors who are helping with the March for the Animals so we can raise the critical funds that are needed to save the lives of 3,000 pets each year.”
