Port Discovery Children’s Museum invites young artists to create with Mechanical Sculptor
Steve Gerberich!
Baltimore, MD (January 24, 2014) –Children will have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to create a an original work of art with mechanical sculptor and creator of the exhibit Holiday Springs and Sprockets, Steve Gerberich, on Sunday, January 26th.
Aspiring artists will create their own mini masterpiece from a smorgasbord of recycled and reclaimed parts painstakingly collected during artist's Steve Gerberich's travels. Kids will arrange and rearrange surplus objects into original beautiful work while acquiring a new appreciation for creative reuse.
This workshop is free with Museum admission.
Sessions will be held at 1pm and 3pm. Sessions are 90 minutes and limited to 15 children, ages 8 and up, per session. Tickets for each session will be distributed at the Security office on the 1st floor
on a first-come, first served basis, 20-minutes prior to the start time of each session.
Guests must have a ticket to participate. Parental supervision is required for all participants.
Sunday, January 26th will also be the last day to view Steve Gerberich’s visiting exhibit Holiday Springs & Sprockets at Port Discovery.
