Port Discovery Children’s Museum to Host 15th Birthday Bonanza and Reduce Admission to $5 on March 15
Port Discovery Children’s Museum is turning 15, and invites the community to help celebrate with a special reduced admission of just $5 on Saturday, March 15.
Port Discovery’s 15th Birthday Bonanza will feature a full day of special birthday-themed programs and activities, including: interactive storytelling during Circle Time; music with Mr. Norman; Pop Up Science demonstrations; “Magical Mats” yoga; appearances and prizes from the Chick-Fil-A cows; paper birthday “cake” craft projects; face painting and more.
At noon, visitors will enjoy a sing-along performance from popular children’s musician Mr. Gabe, who will lead everyone in the singing of “Happy Birthday” to Port Discovery.

“Our Birthday Bonanza is our opportunity to thank our visitors and the greater Baltimore community for helping Port Discovery to become not just one of Maryland’s most popular destinations for families, but one of the highest-rated children’s museums in the country,” said Bryn Parchman, Port Discovery’s president and CEO. “We are excited to offer a special $5 admission rate on March 15 and invite everyone to come celebrate with us.”
