Ranak K. Jasani Joins Junior Achievement of Central Maryland Board
Baltimore Attorney will serve three-year term for education non-profit

OWINGS MILLS, Md. – Junior Achievement of Central Maryland has appointed Ranak K. Jasani to a three-year term on its board of directors.
An attorney with Miles & Stockbridge, Jasani represents businesses in a variety of commercial matters in state and federal courts, at both trial and appellate levels. Her litigation experience includes cases involving trade regulation and antitrust matters, intellectual property, contract disputes, fraud, commercial landlord/tenant actions, and general business and tort disputes.
She previously was a business litigation associate with Whiteford, Taylor & Preston, where her work included serving as co-counsel to the Maryland General Assembly’s Special Committee on State Employee Rights and Protections.

Jasani graduated from the University of Maryland School of Law, with honors, and was Editor-in-Chief of the Maryland Law Review. Prior to attending law school and commencing her law career, she was a publishing editor for Wolters Kluwer, an academic and scientific publishing house based in the Netherlands.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in political science and psychology from the University of Rochester. While attending Rochester, she studied abroad in Brussels, Belgium, where she held an internship with a member of the European Parliament.

“I am delighted to participate on the board for Junior Achievement due to the organization’s call towards the empowerment of young people through fiscal awareness, readiness and responsibility,” said Jasani, who has been a board member with Downtown Baltimore Childcare, Inc. since 2009.
Jasani lives in Baltimore’s Upper Fells Point community with her husband, John Eisenhardt, and their children, Leif and Raina.
