Schools in Baltimore City Closing Early on Wednesday
Administrators said heat was driving the decision.
With highs slated to approach 100 degrees on the heat index Wednesday afternoon in Baltimore City—where not all schools have air conditioning—administrators made the decision to close early.
Students will be dismissed two hours early on Wednesday, Baltimore City Public Schools reported Wednesday morning.
After-school activities are canceled.
