Sellinger School professor appointed to governor's commission
Hung-bin Ding was appointed to the Maryland Governor's Commission on Asian Pacific American Affairs

Hung-bin Ding, associate professor of management at Loyola University Maryland’s Sellinger School of Business and Management, was appointed to the Maryland Governor’s Commission on Asian Pacific American Affairs.
Established in 1992, the commission assists the governor and state agencies in responding to the needs and concerns of Maryland citizens with ancestral heritage in Asian and Pacific Rim countries. Ding joins the commission of 21 voting members appointed by the governor.
In addition to his role as an associate professor, Ding also directs international partnerships for Loyola’s Sellinger School.

Among his other professional roles, he advises for the Overseas Community Affairs Council in Taiwan and serves on the editorial boards of two business journals. He also served on the Internationalization and Integration Committee for the Organizational and Natural Environment Division of the Academy of Management.
Ding holds a doctorate in management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in New York and a master’s degree in science, technology and public policy from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. He earned his bachelor’s degree in political science from Soochow University in Taiwan.
