Summer Theatre of the Stewartstown United Methodist Church presents Stewartstown Railroad Company a financial donation
The Stewartstown Railroad Company partnered with the Summer Theatre and the Stewartstown United Methodist Church through their production of The Music Man July and August 2014. The opening scene depicts a railroad car and salesmen the Summer Theatre used the Stewartstown Railroad Company as their railroad set on stage. The sign in the picture is the sign from the set that is signed by the entire cast and crew.
The railroad company received a financial donation for the continued rehabilitation of our historical Short Line railroad, that is still operating under its original charter since 1884, and still provides rides on motor cars today. We thank Summer Theatre wholeheartedly for their commitment to their local community and look forward to provided services into the future. Stewartstown Railroad is actively seeking volunteers for their track crew every Saturday 9-5 and Coach Restoration the last Saturday of every month. PLEASE JOIN US!
