On Friday, February 14, Saturday, February 15, and Sunday, February 16 the Maryland SPCA will be holding a special Valentine's adoption event. Adopt a dog or cat from the MD SPCA, and adopters can name their own adoption price. All adoptable pets have been medically and behaviorally assessed, vaccinated and spayed or neutered. The MD SPCA is a non-profit organization and receives no operating funding from the government, ASPCA or any national animal welfare agencies. They rely on community support to find homes for 3,000 pets each year.
