TranZed Alliance Names Marie Caputo Vice Chair of Board

Caputo brings 23 years of experience in financial services.

The TranZed Alliance, parent company of The Children’s Guild and Monarch Academy, named Marie Caputo vice chair of its board. Caputo has over 23 years of experience in financial services.

Caputo is a principal in Clifton Gunderson’s Calverton, Md., office serving as the northeast regional leader of the firm’s nonprofit industry practice. Caputo is a certified public accountant in Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia. She also is a certified government financial manager and certified global management accountant.

In addition, Caputo was named to The Children’s Guild board of directors in 2011. She is also part of the American Institute of CPAs, Maryland Association of CPAs, American Women’s Society of CPAs, American Society of Association Executives and the Association of Government Accountants. She serves as president of the D.C. Metropolitan Area Chapter of the American Women’s Society of CPAs and as a national board member. Caputo also co-chairs the Not-for-Profit Committee for the Maryland Association of CPAs.

Caputo earned her Bachelor of Science in accounting at the University of Maryland, College Park. She lives in Jessup, Md.
