Amtrak Police and the Baltimore City Fire Department are investigating a fire off Falls Road Sunday evening that caused $30,000 in damage, according to the Office of the State Fire Marshal.
At 5:09 p.m. on Sunday, a passerby reported a structure fire in the 1800 block of Falls Road, the fire marshal said. The building is near the colorful Howard Street bridge.
When 15 firefighters from Baltimore City arrived, they found two separate fires—one inside a storage structure and a debris pile ablaze under the bridge, according to the fire marshal.
