Woman Killed in Falls Road Crash: Police
A tree hit her vehicle, Baltimore County police reported.
A 52-year-old Joppa woman was killed Wednesday morning on Falls Road when a tree fell onto her car, police said.
At approximately 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Rebecca Lowry of Joppa was headed south in the 7000 block of Falls Road when a tree hit her 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser, according to a report from the Baltimore County Police Department.
The vehicle continued traveling south for a short distance before coming to rest near Old Pimlico Road, according to authorities.

Police said Lowry was pronounced dead at the scene.
There were no other passengers in the vehicle, according to the report.
