York Road McDonald’s Robbed at Gunpoint

Editor's note: Some of the details have been changed from an earlier version of this article. An email sent out by Baltimore City police contradict details included in an incident report released earlier.

(UPDATE 4 p.m.)—The McDonald’s near Radnor-Winston was robbed at gunpoint on Saturday.

According to  police, three robbers entered the store through the front door at 8:50 p.m. in the 5100 block of York Road.

One of the robbers was armed with a silver semiautomatic handgun, jumped over the counter and told employees "you know what this is, open the registers."

A second man took money from the registers while a a third man acted as a look out. In addition to cash from the registers the men also took money from a safe.

The robbers then ran eastbound across York Road.No one was injured during the robbery.

The first robber was described as a black man between 5'7" and 5'8", average build, with a gray hoody, dark blue jeans, a white fabric belt, dark sneakers. He wore a black mask and was armed with a silver semiautomatic handgun.

The second robber was described as a black man between 5'7" and 5'8", with an average to heavy build, wearing a gray hoody, white or very light blue jeans, dark shoes and a black mask.

The third robber was also described as a black man, between 5'7" and 5'8", a thick build, wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans, dark shoes, a white baseball cap and a black mask. 

The same McDonald's was also the target of an in March. Those robbers also took cash from the register and a drawer on a workstation from the manager's office.
