Artists Christine Hekimian, Marcie Wolf-Hubbard, Lauren Kingsland and Shanthi Chandrasekar will be on hand for a reception for the Kolam Quilts and Paintings, Glass Works and Mixed Media exhibit at the Arts Barn.
Kolam is a drawing tradition in South India. Kingsland's and Chandrasekar's works include quilts and paintings celebrating Kolam. Hekimian's work is in glass and Wolf-Hubbard presents her paintings in mixed media titled "moustrapped," a mouse saga using recycled kitchen cabinet doors as a base.
Exhibit runs through Mar 20.
