Man Dies By Suicide When Deputies Try Serving Eviction Notice: PD
Montgomery County Police said a Darnestown resident died by suicide when deputies tried to serve an eviction notice.

POTOMAC, MD — Montgomery County deputy sheriffs, who were attempting to serve an eviction notice, found a man dead inside a Darnestown home on Friday morning. According to authorities, it appeared that the individual had died by suicide.
Shortly before 10 a.m. on Friday, deputies tried to serve an eviction notice at a home in the 15200 block of Jones Lane. Upon arriving, officials said they heard what sounded like a single gunshot coming from inside the residence. Montgomery County Police were then called for assistance.
Upon entering the home, deputies and officers said they found an adult male resident suffering from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. His body was taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore for an autopsy.
