Montgomery County Among America's 15 Richest

Montgomery County ranks as the 12th highest median household income in the United States, according to MainStreet.com.

Montgomery County ranks as the 12th richest county in America based on 2010 Census Bureau data, according to a report by MainStreet.com.

County residents have a median household income of $89,155 and the median value of owner-occupied homes was $482,900 from 2006-2010.

The national average for median household income is $49,445.

"More than half of the county’s population has a bachelor’s degree or higher and the home values in this area are astounding," according to the report.
