Update: August 16, 2021 - Oscar Jones has been located safe and unharmed.

Gaithersburg, MD -  Detectives from the Montgomery County Police – 4th District Investigative

Section are asking the public for help in locating a missing Silver Spring man.  

72-year-old Oscar Jones was last seen leaving his residence today, Monday August 16, around 12:40 p.m. Jones was wearing a light blue polo shirt and dark colored pants.  Jones is 5-feet, 6-inches and approximately 115 lbs. He is balding with gray hair and a gray goatee.  

Police and family are concerned for Jones’ welfare.  

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Oscar Jones is asked to call the Montgomery County
