Update: September 1, 2021 - Dulce Maria Ortiz has been located safe and unharmed.

Gaithersburg, MD - Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Special Victims Investigations Division (SVID) are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing juvenile female.

Dulce Maria Ortiz, age 13, was last seen leaving Eastern Middle School at 300 University Boulevard East on Wednesday August 25 around 6 P. M.

Dulce Maria Ortiz is approximately 5’ 2” tall and weighs 135 pounds. She has shoulder length black hair and brown eyes. Dulce was last seen wearing an orange t-shirt, black athletic shorts, and knee-high black socks.

Police and family are concerned for her welfare.

Anyone with information about Dulce Maria Ortiz’s whereabouts is asked to call the police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000 (24-hour line).
