Gaithersburg, MD – Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Major Crimes Division are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying suspects involved in a robbery and shooting in the 9000 block of Emory Grove Road in Gaithersburg.

On Sunday, August 29, at approximately 6 a.m., 6th District officers responded to an address on Emory Grove Road for a shooting that just occurred. Upon arrival, officers located a 31-year-old male victim, suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.

The victim was outside of his home when he was approached by three masked males. One demanded his money and car keys. The victim complied, however one of the suspects shot him multiple times before fleeing the location.

Detectives are asking that residents in the area check their home video surveillance to see if the cameras may have captured images of the crime or suspects fleeing the scene.

Anyone with information regarding these suspects or this crime is asked to call the Major Crimes Division at 240-773-5070.
