URGENT NEWS!!! Senate Bill 880 is STILL ALIVE
This bill lets us keep our old electric meter without paying higher rates (over $200 a year!). The alternative? Mandatory installation of the new, radiation-emitting, privacy-invading, house-fire-implicated Smart Meters. Please call or email the Maryland Senate Finance Committee and show your support before Monday afternoon 3/17/14. It is essential these committee members hear from you. Brian Feldman is our district Senator, so you might start there. I called his office on Friday and they were very interested in hearing from constituents.Send a quick email to the senators/members of the Senate Finance Committee asking them to vote favorably on SB880 (the smart meter opt out bill) and send it to the floor for a full senate vote.
