Woman Struck And Killed By Car In Darnestown Identified
The Darnestown resident was hit by a 2015 Acura TLX while crossing Darnestown Road at Ancient Oak Drive around 5:19 p.m. and later died.
DARNESTOWN, MD — A Darnestown resident who was hit by a car on Friday, Dec. 14 has died, officials said.
Montgomery County Police have identified the pedestrian as Nancy Jean Soulen, 87, of the 15300 block of Quail Run Drive. Authorities said the Darnestown resident was hit by a 2015 Acura TLXwhile crossing Darnestown Road at Ancient Oak Dr around 5:19 p.m. Soulen was taken to a hospital where she died from her injuries on Sunday, Dec. 16.
Officials identified the driver of the Acura as 21-year-old Adrian Takashi Culp of Gaithersburg. According to police, Culp was traveling east on Darnestown Road when he hit Soulen. Culp was not injured during the collision.
