2 Teens Found Stabbed Near Church At Severn Run

Two boys who were found stabbed near a Severn church are not cooperating with police, officials say. The attack may have happened in a car.

SEVERN, MD — Two teenagers were found with stab wounds Thursday afternoon near the Church at Severn Run, say authorities, who do not believe the youths were stabbed at the church, but instead in a vehicle in the Severn or Odenton area. Anne Arundel County Police were called to the church just after 4:30 p.m.

The two teenagers, ages 16 and 17, were found near the church at 8187 Telegraph Road with what police believe to be non-life-threatening injuries to Maryland Shock Trauma in Baltimore. They were taken by ambulance to the hospital.

Police describe both victims as no cooperating with investigators. It is likely that the victims and suspect know each other and this is not considered a random act of violence, authorities said.
