5 Local Places For Valentine's Day
Looking to take your significant other out for a romantic evening? Local restaurants are taking reservations now. Here are a few local places you can check out.

You may be focused on watching the Super Bowl this weekend, but Valentine’s Day is not too far off. With many restaurants requiring reservations, it’s important to call sooner than later, lest you be stuck explaining to your significant other why you’re sitting at home with a bucket of fried chicken.
Here are five local spots worth considering for the Feb. 14 night out.
Perry’s will be running dinner specials not only on Valentine’s Day, but from Feb. 10-14. The menu is still being ironed out, but call 410-674-4000 for details and reservations.

Come to the popular Gambrills restaurant and get four courses for $25. Diners get a choice of soups, a choice of salads, one of four entrees, plus dessert. A glass of champagne is included. Call 410-923-2005. The regular dinner menu will also be available.
I wouldn’t instinctively think of a Chinese restaurant as the ideal place for Valentine’s Day, but then I came across a review of Hunan L’Rose on Trip Advisor. A reviewer from Gambrills writes: “My wife and I have always loved this place. It was the site of our first date, and we've eaten there every Valentines Day since 2005.” So there you go. Head to Hunan L’Rose on Feb. 14 and maybe turn it into a tradition.

My wife and I dined at this Crofton spot last year on Valentine’s Day and enjoyed it thoroughly. Get the duck. Call 410-451-1602 for reservations.
If you’re in the mood for Mediterranean food, swing by the Village at Waugh Chapel for a romantic meal. The menu will be the same, but the restaurant is accepting reservations for two-hour dining experiences, beginning at 4 p.m. Valentine’s Day.
