9 Arrested in Drug Stops in Odenton, Crownsville

Two searches of vehicles on Monday by police led to the arrest of nine people – most from Severn and Crownsville – and the seizure of heroin, Oxycodone and other drugs.

Anne Arundel County Police stopped a vehicle reportedly tied to area drug activity about 4 p.m. Monday in the 1500 block of Waterbury Road in Crownsville. When police searched the vehicle they reportedly found 74 gelcaps of heroin with an estimated street value of $3,019. In addition, a small amount of crack cocaine and a 2000 Mercury Marquis were seized.

Five suspects were arrested and charged with possession of CDS: not marijuana and possession with intent to distribute narcotics.

Those charged are:

• William Imperato, 22, of 46 Summerhill Trailer Park in Crownsville
• Tanya Hundley, 45, of 1610 Elkwood Court in Annapolis
• Diane Werner, 50, of 1525 Waterbury Road in Crownsville
• Jason Simon, 33, of 1255 Sheridan Drive in Crownsville
• Sarah Taylor, 22, of 46 Summerhill Trailer Park in Crownsville

About 11:25 a.m. Monday, a vehicle search in the 1600 block of Annapolis Road in Odenton turned up 16 Oxycodone with an estimated street value of $480, 6.5 grams of crack cocaine valued at $585, and 19 individual baggies of crack cocaine weighing 7.1 grams, valued at $639. Police also seized $1,655 cash and a 2003 Cadillac DTS.

Four suspects were arrested and charged with various drug possession and distribution charges.

Those arrested are:

• Khayla Monet Brunner, 20, of 7923 Carriage Drive in Severn
• Neiko Tyree Evans, 20, of 1828 Bluejay Court in Severn
• William Daniel Houston IV, 34, of 2050 Whistler Ave. in Baltimore
• Durwood Conrad Burney Jr., 23, of 1756 Jacobs Meadow Drive in Severn
