Patient First Opens

When: Wednesday, 8 a.m.
Where: 1110 Annapolis Rd., Odenton

Details: It may be one of the few businesses that we hope people aren't lined out the door to see. Suffice it to say, an opening of a Patient First isn't like the opening of an Apple Store. That said, residents of Odenton should appreciate another place close by when they bump their head or have a bad cold.

2012 London Olympics Begin

When: Friday through August 12.
Where: London

Details: The Olympic opening ceremonies are Friday night. We have including information on a new partnership with First Lady Michelle Obama and the "Let's Move!" campaign. Stay tuned later in the week for some trivia, and a guide for local spots to watch the games.

When: Saturday at 8:30 p.m.
Where: Island Pool, Piney Orchard

Details: Piney Orchard residents are invited to enjoy the second movie night of the summer with a showing of Happy Feet 2. The event is free for Piney Orchard residents. There are no floats permitted in the pools, though noodles are allowed. Bring your community ID.
